Arabian wolf

In the grey wolf (the species to which the Arabian wolf belongs), the male is larger than the female: males measure 1,000–1,300 mm in total length and weigh 30–80 kg (average 55 kg), while females measure 870–1,170 mm and weigh 23–55 kg (average 45 kg). These figures are for the species as a whole, and southern populations are generally smaller.
