Habitat

Where it lives

The Dhofar Mountains are among the habitats of the Arabian chameleon; their sea-facing slopes receive moist monsoon winds between July and August, which bring green vegetation resembling tropical forest.

Where it is found

The Reptile Database gives the Arabian chameleon's range as Oman and Yemen; it was first described from the gardens of Lahij oasis near Aden.
