In a survey published in 2018 in south-western Saudi Arabia, the Arabian toad was recorded in most surveyed wetland types, chiefly valley streams, then dam reservoirs and irrigated farms, at elevations of 60–2,500 m; it was not recorded in treated-sewage lagoons in that survey.
