قُيِّمت الكوبرا العربية Naja arabica بأنها أقل قلقًا في القائمة الحمراء للاتحاد الدولي لصون الطبيعة عام 2012، إذ تنتشر في مساحة واسعة من غرب شبه الجزيرة العربية، رغم أن اتجاه أعدادها غير معروف وقد تتأثر باستخراج السم وتجارة الحيوانات الأليفة الغريبة.
