Injanatherium arabicum is a fossil giraffid from the Miocene of Al-Ahsa, known from a scientific description of fossil bones. Its placement among the giraffids provides a comparative framework, but the neck, ossicones or colours of the modern giraffe or its relatives should not be copied as established traits of this species without the description of the original bones.

The original description of the fossil giraffid Injanatherium arabicum from Middle Miocene deposits of the Hofuf Formation in Saudi Arabia established the presence of two pairs of nearly horizontal cranial bony appendages (ossicones), together with distinctive proportions of the rear of the skull and a smaller size than the closely related Iraqi species Injanatherium hazimi. This is evidence on skull anatomy, but it does not determine coat colour, neck length or overall body shape.
