Sources list the dorcas gazelle in North Africa, the Sahara, the Horn of Africa, the Negev and Sinai. A regional assessment published in 2023 restricts its regional distribution to the far north-west, describing it as a rare visitor to Jordan and noting that it may no longer occur in Sinai; these sources do not list Saudi Arabia within its current range.
