Saker falcon

The sexes are similar in appearance, but the female is about 15% larger and about 40% heavier than the male. The female usually weighs between 970 and 1,300 g, is about 55 cm long and has a wingspan of 120–130 cm, while the male weighs between 730 and 990 g, is about 45 cm long and has a wingspan of 100–110 cm.

The saker falcon varies greatly in colour and pattern, from a nearly uniform chocolate brown, to a cream or straw-coloured base with brown streaks, to blond (leucistic) individuals with brown eyes that Arab falconers particularly prefer.
